Kronenbourg 1664Good Taste With A Twist
How it was made
The shot is two bare arms twisted around each other, one of them tipping a cobalt bottle into a branded glass so the beer arcs in and heads up. It has to be the same twist and the same arc on every take, and it has to sit with everything else the campaign shot.
What went down first
Registration marks on the surface before a single frame was exposed. They are there so the effects work and the scene blending have something to line up against afterwards, which is the difference between post finishing a shot and post rebuilding it.
On the day
Three days in Copenhagen, with a pre-light the day before on the bottle against a white sweep. The pour runs off a motion-control rig that can repeat it, and comes straight back on the tethered monitor at the edge of the set, so what post is going to get is visible while there's still time to change it.
